EGOTAPE 4000 X-CROSS is a self-adhesive, cross-laminated, thermoplastic sealing tape based on Butyl rubber. The lamination consists of a highly tear-resistant, cross-laminated HDPE film. Due to its properties and composition, this universal sealing tape is ideally suited for use as a joint sealing tape in the field of “sustainable construction” and has been verified in accordance with the assessment systems DGNB, QNG, BNB, EU Taxonomy, LEED, and BREEAM.

EGOTAPE 4000 X-CROSS is a Butyl sealing tape with high resistance to tear propagation and therefore provides long-lasting watertightness in roofing applications, especially when penetrated by drilling, screwing, or nailing, for example during the fastening of counter battens.
