EGO has been producing high-quality, ready-to-use silicone sealants for more than 50 years. Thanks to their outstanding properties, the silicones are able to meet a wide range of sealing requirements in different areas. All silicones are characterized by very good adhesion, high resistance to ageing and excellent resistance to UV, weathering and chemicals. Fungicidal silicones give mold and water damage a chance. Our aim is to guarantee a durable and functional joint in many areas of application.

Quality
EGO silicone sealants offer excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates. They are elastic, durable and resistant to UV, weathering and ageing. They are also solvent- and plasticizer-free and cross-link either neutrally or acidically. Special EGO silicones are even resistant to high temperatures (up to 250 °C, 300 °C for a short time) or are fungicidal to protect against mold.
Processing
Our silicone sealants are ready to use and can be applied directly. Thanks to their excellent adhesion and compatibility with most common building materials, our silicones ensure permanently tight and elastic joints. They are cured by atmospheric moisture, resulting in a permanently elastic, weather and UV-resistant seal.

Ja – etwa die Sanitär-Variante 151 ist fungizid und chemikalienbeständig. Für Aquarien und Lebensmittelkontakt gibt es spezielle neutrale Typen ohne Fungizide .
Typisch sind -60 °C bis +150 °C (z. B. EGOSILICON 300 und 351). Hochtemperatur-Silikone erlauben noch höhere Werte.
Ja – Neutral-Silikone wie EGOSILICON 351 greifen Naturstein nicht an und sind fungizid, elastisch und wetterbeständig
Das Silikon härtet durch Feuchtigkeitseinwirkung aus – ca. 2–3 mm in den ersten 24 h, dann langsamer. Verarbeitung ideal bei +5 °C bis +40 °C. Eine vollständige Aushärtung kann mehrere Tage dauern .
Nein. Silikone sind nicht überstreichbar. Es empfiehlt sich, farblich passende Produkte oder Fassaden-Alternativen zu verwenden .
EGO bietet eine breite Farbpalette, bis hin zu Sonderfarben. Verpackungen gibt es als 300 ml/310 ml Kartusche, 400 ml oder 600 ml Schlauch und auf Anfrage auch in Fässern.
Ungeöffnete Kartuschen lagern ideal bei max. +20 °C trocken. Geöffnete sollten dicht verschlossen werden. Haltbarkeit ungeöffnet ca. 12–18 Monate bei korrekter Lagerung .
