EGO VLIESTAPE DUO

EGO VLIESTAPE is a self-adhesive, dimensionally stable, thermoplastic sealing tape based on Butyl rubber, permanently laminated with a synthetic fleece for reinforcement and to reduce surface tackiness. Due to the fleece lamination, the sealing tape can be plastered or painted over, making it ideal as an invisible sealing tape beneath ceramic coverings and in plastered masonry. At the same time, the “DUO version” allows adhesion on both sides of the tape, enabling EGO VLIESTAPE DUO to be applied in either direction.

EGO VLIESTAPE DUO is suitable for the safe, quick, and vapor-tight sealing of window connection joints. Thanks to its fleece backing, the sealing tape can be plastered over and painted, allowing for completely concealed installation. At the uncoated section, the tape is double-sided adhesive, making it easy to attach directly to the window.EGO VLIESTAPE DUO is also ideal for sealing in sanitary areas, serving as an edge seal for bathtubs and shower trays. In the DUO version, it provides the additional option of sealing both the wall and the bathtub or shower tray. In floor areas, the DUO version can be installed with overlapping joints, meaning that the installation does not have to be butt-jointed; the overlap ensures continuous sealing.EGO VLIESTAPE DUO is perfectly suited for sealing shower and bathtub units made of acrylic, mineral cast, ceramic, and metal.
