Butyl tape/round cord for sealing

EGOBON 212 is a thermoplastic sealing tape based on Butyl rubber, available as a tape and a round cord. Product-specific verifications for selected requirements of DGNB, QNG, BNB, the EU Taxonomy, LEED and BREEAM are available for EGOBON 212 in Building Material Scout. EGOBON 212 is suitable for sealing and fixing applications in industrial and construction environments, as well as for overlapping and protective sealing applications where no mechanical forces are transferred. It can be used at joints, connections, penetrations, seams, wraps and butt joints, and for extensive repair work both indoors and outdoors. The product can also be used for corrosion protection between metallic materials or for vibration and sound damping. Mechanical fastening is required where forces are to be transferred.
