Fire protection backfill cord for backfilling joints

EGOFÜLL BRANDSCHUTZ is a flexible joint cord made from mineral fibers, braided with glass fiber yarn. EGOFÜLL BRANDSCHUTZ is used in expansion and movement joints in the construction of buildings, civil engineering, and tunnels, for joint widths ranging from 10 mm to 150 mm.

EGOFÜLL BRANDSCHUTZ serves as a fire-resistant joint sealant between non-combustible, room-separating solid walls, ceilings, and floors made of masonry, bricks, or concrete. The product maintains the fire resistance of separating building components when interrupted or separated by joints and prevents the passage of fire and gases for up to 240 minutes.
