EGOPREN is a closed-cell PE foam sealant strip that is self-adhesive on one side and supplied with a PE film. It is thread reinforced, unplasticised and weatherproof. EGOPREN serves as spacing element for single and double glazing to be sealed after the tape has been installed as well as for parapet elements.

Fire-resistant Joint Backing Rope is an elastic, flexible, mineral fibre based joint backing rope wrapped in glass fibre thread. Fire-resistant Joint Backing Rope is used for expansion and movement joints in the building and tunnel construction as well as for civil and underground engineering applications. It provides a fire and vapour barrier for up to 180 minutes. Test reports of building supervisory boards available.

EGO FIBERFRAX is a ceramic fibre joint sealant strip that is non-flammable acc. to DIN 4102. It is chemically neutral, environment-friendly and not harmful. In case of fire EGO FIBERFRAX does not develop smoke gas and does not drip material when exposed to flames. EGO FIBERFRAX is free from asbestos. For fire-resistant and fire-retardant glazing as well as for joints that require a B1 seal according to DIN 4102.

EGOPREN C1 is a precompressed, impregnated polyurethane soft foam sealant strip that is self-adhesive on one side, meets the requirements of DIN 18542-BG1 and is hardly inflammable according to DIN 4102 (general building inspection test certificate available). The product is supplied in rolls. After positioning, the material expands gradually according to temperature and adapts to the width of the joint and to uneven surfaces. EGOPREN C1 is resistant to weathering, UV radiation and driving rain acc. to DIN 18055, water vapour permeable, waterproof as well as paint compatible. It is free from CFC and chlorinated substances. For sealing exterior wall joints in the building construction, the construction of prfabricated concrete elements, for timber, masonry, metal, as perimeter seal around doors and windows as well as for sealing roofs, concervatories and ventilation systems.

Perimeter seal around windows, doors and thermal insulation composite systems, for the construction of prefabricated parts, timber construction, interior work, container manufacture, masonry, metal construction. Especially suited for sealing water vapour permeable external perimeter joints around windows and doors as well as for sealing roofs, concervatories and ventilation systems.
